Turn a Contact List into a LinkedIn Company List
Uploaded 4,000 contacts and LinkedIn matched a fraction of them?
Stop uploading people. Upload their companies.
Paste your list. The converter pulls the company domain from every work email, drops the Gmails and Hotmails, dedupes, and hands you a LinkedIn company list.
Then layer job titles and you're reaching the whole buying committee, not just the people you happened to have emails for.
Runs in your browser. Your list never touches our servers.

What happens
What the converter does
Pulls the domain.jane@acme.co.uk becomes acme.co.uk, in the companyemaildomain and companywebsite columns.
Drops personal email.Gmail, Hotmail, Outlook and the rest say nothing about the employer, so they're removed.
Dedupes by domain.Twelve people at Acme become one Acme row.
Picks the right name.Uses the most common company name for each domain, so "Acme Ltd" and "ACME" become one.
Uses LinkedIn's headers.Outputs the exact 10 LinkedIn company list headers, ready to upload.
Flags thin lists.Warns you if you end up under 300 companies.
My take
James Green, Evergreen
A contact list reaches who you know. A company list reaches who decides.
Your CRM has one or two names per account. The buying committee is five to ten people. Most of them have never filled in your form.
Upload the companies, then add job titles in Campaign Manager. That's how you get in front of the finance director who signs off, not just the manager who downloaded your guide.
Questions
FAQ
Why turn contacts into companies?
Contact lists match badly on LinkedIn because people sign up with personal emails. Company lists match on the organisation instead, so you reach everyone there with the right job title, not just the people in your CRM.
How does it work out the company?
It takes the domain from each work email (jane@acme.co.uk becomes acme.co.uk), drops personal email providers, dedupes by domain and uses the most common company name for that domain.
Which personal email domains does it remove?
Gmail, Googlemail, Hotmail, Outlook, Live, Yahoo, iCloud, AOL, BT Internet, Sky, Virgin Media, Proton, GMX and more. Those rows are dropped because the domain says nothing about the employer.
How many companies do I need?
300 rows to upload. LinkedIn recommends 1,000+. A 4,000-contact export often collapses to far fewer companies, so check the count before you build the campaign.
Is my list uploaded anywhere?
No. Your browser does all the work. Nothing is sent to us or anyone else.
Should I still upload the contact list too?
For exclusions and retargeting known leads, yes. For reaching new people at target accounts, the company list does the job better.
List sorted. Now the hard bit.
Uploading is easy. Turning a list into meetings is where most campaigns fall over: the wrong job titles layered on, boring ads, budget spread too thin.
That's the bit we do for niche B2B firms.
